Join the Conference Board of Canada and the Future Skills Centre for the Manitoba “stop” of the Virtual Regional Sounding Tour, March 11, 2021 from 1 to 3 PM.
The Future Skills Centre is dedicated to helping Canadians gain the skills they need to thrive in a changing labour market. A forward-looking organization, FSC prototypes, tests, and measures new and innovative approaches to skills development and training, with the goal to builda resilient learning nation, backed by an agile and responsive skills ecosystem. The Regional Sounding Tour is a series of strategic roundtables (currently taking place virtually) to engage Canadians in every province and territory on their local needs in terms of skills development and training.
For Manitoba, the MCC, Red River College and UCN are proud to serve as local virtual hosts for this event once again, which builds on the success of the 2019–20 Regional Sounding Tour. This year’s series will continue the conversation about workforce skills with a focus on how the country has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, what the path to recovery looks like, and how the Future Skills Centre can help.
We are inviting Manitoba residents who are engaged or interested in skills and training to be part of the conversation. We want to hear diverse perspectives and learn more about the needs of individual communities. By registering and participating, you will be joining a pan-Canada stakeholder network focused on the future of work in Canada.
The event is free, but space is limited! Register now to reserve a seat and participate in this critical discussion.
