In Person Events
#NetworkB49! Network over breakfast with Manitoba’s top business leaders, gain valuable insights from high-profile speakers, and be back at work by 10:00 AM.
The Ministers’ Dinner is the most popular Manitoba Chambers of Commerce event. This unique event serves as a vital connector between Cabinet Ministers, the Executive Council, and business leaders, and is an event not to be missed for business leaders interested in the future growth of our province.
This MCC Signature Event brings together business and community leaders to connect directly with action drivers in the Manitoba government — the Deputy Ministers — who are most influential in advising on and shaping public policy, and ultimately, implementing political decisions. Each roundtable is hosted by a Deputy Minister or Assistant Deputy Minister, facilitating an informal exchange of ideas, concerns, and opinions.
The full-day event coincides with our organization’s annual general meeting and includes keynote presentations, one on one conversations and panel discussions, featuring some of Manitoba’s most influential leaders from business, post-secondary education, and community organizations. This is an opportunity for cross-sectoral leaders, chamber representatives, government decision-makers, and members of academia to come together to discuss current trends and challenges and their effect on Manitoba businesses.
#MBPoli Power Hour is a webinar series dedicated to connecting members of our business community with government representatives. Topics have included our roadmap to COVID-19 recovery, economic development and competitiveness, infrastructure and municipal relations, and more. Join us via Zoom as we host a provincial or federal minister for a keynote presentation and live Q&A.
Our Asked & Answered webinar series is designed to explore timely topics of relevance with industry experts. Previous events have featured specialists in the areas of commercial insurance, hiring for diversity, legal and financial issues for business amid the pandemic, COVID-19 prevention orders, employee stress management, and more. Contact us if you have a proposal for a future presentation.
