Climate Action for Manitoba Businesses

Climate Action Toolkit for Manitoba Business

A changing climate has a real and measurable impact on Manitoba businesses – from . From production losses due to extreme weather events to disruptive market trends. However, climate change can also present new market opportunities, for example consumer preferences for low-carbon products and services. In today’s marketplace, climate action and sustainability are increasingly seen as drivers of economic competitiveness.
Manitoba businesses are actively enhancing climate resilience and reducing carbon emissions through various initiatives. That’s why the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce created this toolkit in collaboration with Novel Futures Corporation, the International Institute for Sustainable Development, and the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association, and with support from the Government of Manitoba’s Conservation and Climate Fund.
