Federal Regional Relief & Recovery Fund Receives Boost of Additional Funds

Oct 13, 2020

The federal government recently announced additional funding for the Regional Relief & Recovery Fund (RRRF) now at $1.5 billion to help mitigate the financial pressure experienced by businesses and organizations to allow them to continue their operations, including paying their employees.
This fund also supports projects by businesses, organizations, and communities to prepare now for a successful recovery. The application process is divided into four streams, and how you should apply depends on your type of business and your location in Manitoba, and the level of funding you’re looking for. The streams are:
  • funding of up to $40,000 for rural businesses;
  • funding of up to $40,000 for women-owned and women-led businesses;
  • funding of up to $40,000 for all other SMEs;
  • funding requests of $40,000+
