MCCs 2020 Pre-Budget Submission & Consultations

Every year, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce submits a pre-budget commentary to the provincial government’s public consultation process. But we can all have our say. To participate in the consultation process, all Manitobans may send a written document by mail or email to:

Or, you may attend an in-person event hosted by Finance Minister Scott Fielding. Manitoba Finance is hosting public engagement meetings to give Manitobans an opportunity to share their input into the shaping of the 2020/21 provincial budget. Remaining in-person pre-budget consultations are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Millennium Exhibition Centre, 227 10th Ave. NW, Altona
  • Thursday, Jan. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Garden City Community Centre, 725 Kingsbury Ave., Winnipeg
  • Monday, Jan. 27 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Jake Epp Library, 255 Elmdale St., Steinbach
