Buck Pierce receives Ed Kotowich Good Guy Award

Since signing with the Blue Bombers in April, 2010, Pierce has made a commitment to the city of Winnipeg by putting up permanent residence year-round and has been very active in the community, giving back whenever he can. He has donated his time to organizations such as the United Way and has participated in many Blue Bomber appearances with the I Love to Read program at various schools throughout the city and province. Pierce has also taken the time to reach outside of Winnipeg and has travelled to many different rural towns throughout Manitoba for public speaking events. [Click on Pic to learn more]

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers Team up with the Keeping Abreast Organization to Help Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Research

Winnipeg Blue Bomber players will be able to wear pink themed items from Reebok on their October 22nd home game vs. Montreal. As well, fans can purchase for the first time Blue Bomber pink hats, short sleeve and long sleeve Reebok branded t-shirts and a new style of pink logo’d toques and scarves with the Blue Bomber and Breast Cancer logo on them. Blue Bombers and Safeway Team Up To Offer Scholarships in Honour of Coach Richard Harris

Starting October 5th Blue Bomber fans can purchase a limited number of tickets (350 per game) for the two remaining regular season home games (October 22nd against the Montreal Alouettes and October 28th against the Toronto Argonauts) for $30 plus tax, exclusively at Madison Square Safeway located at 1612 Ness Avenue near Canad Inns Stadium. A portion of each ticket sold ($7.25) will be donated by Safeway and the Blue Bombers to Football Manitoba in a trust fund for two scholarships in honour of Coach Harris for the 2012 football season.[Click on PIc to learn more]
