Programs
The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce designs and delivers strategic programs and resources to support sustainable economic development and our community’s future. Our programs are tailored to support the growth and capacity of Manitoba businesses.
Current Programs
The Manitoba Green Advantage (MGA)
The Manitoba Green Advantage (MGA) aims to strengthen Manitoba’s position as a leader in the green economy. With near-zero emission electricity and an abundance of critical minerals, Manitoba offers significant green investment opportunities. Phase 1 of MGA will map Manitoba’s green economy roadmap, while Phase 2 includes a granting initiative for SMEs.
The Manitoba Mineral Development Fund (MMDF)
The Manitoba Mineral Development Fund (MMDF) is a $20-million provincial fund administered by the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC). MMDF is dedicated to supporting strategic projects aimed at advancing mineral exploration and development within Manitoba. It focuses on initiatives that foster increased Indigenous participation and promote sustainable economic growth throughout the province’s mineral supply chain.
The Digital Manitoba Initiative (DMI)
The Digital Manitoba Initiative (DMI) was created by the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce to develop avenues for making digital adaptation more accessible. With the goal of delivering meaningful initiatives for businesses across the province, DMI programs empower businesses with the training, tools, and expert support they need to transform their operations and thrive in today’s market. Currently, DMI offers the Digital Services Program, which connects Manitoba businesses with highly vetted and experienced service providers in one of three areas: Business Technology Assessment, Digital Legal Services, or Cybersecurity Audit.
