MBiz Magazine I Summer 2025 Issue: Shaping Manitoba’s Economic Future

May 26, 2025

As challenges and uncertainties persist for Manitoba businesses, what can be done to reclaim our province’s strategic advantage? Our latest issue of MBiz Magazine has just been released, and it looks at breaking down barriers, unlocking resource potential and empowering homegrown business.

This new issue highlights the bold steps we need to take, and what each of us can do to showcase the strength, grit and resilience that define our province, its industries and its people. You’ll read about:

  • Why interprovincial trade barriers need to be eliminated
  • How and why Manitobans are supporting local, and what it means for businesses
  • The impact of economic uncertainty on the ag industry, with a focus on canola
  • Manitoba’s tourism industry and opportunities
  • …and more!

Plus, catch up on some of the advocacy work and other activities the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce has been involved in over the past few months, on behalf of our members and the business community.

Published twice annually in partnership with the Winnipeg Free Press, MBiz Magazine features stories and interviews with locals from business and government who are in the know. Copies were distributed in the May 24 Saturday Free Press and can be found at some newsstands around the province. Manitoba Chambers of Commerce members will also be sent a copy of the new issue.
