Drawing on nearly two decades of experience, as a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP Matt works closely with medium to large private companies and public companies, as well as small businesses and start-ups, to help his clients make practical financial and planning decisions to grow their business and achieve their strategic goals.
Matt earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) from the University of Manitoba in 2007. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2010 and received the Early Achievement Award from CPA Manitoba in 2019. Matt is also a director with the Canadian Centre for Child Protection and a member of the CPA Manitoba Registration Committee, as well as a past president and director of Curl Manitoba.

Q: What inspired you to join the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce board, and what impact do you hope to make (or to have made so far)?
A: To in some small way contribute to Manitoba being a better place to live and do business.
Q: What is one key challenge or opportunity you see for businesses in Manitoba right now?
A: To better leverage our clean energy, critical minerals and central location in the future green focused economy.
Q: What is your favorite local Manitoba company, restaurant or event to support?
A: It is hard to pick just one! Manitoba and Winnipeg have so many great locally owned restaurants that my family tries to support as much as possible.
