The Tourism Industry Association of Manitoba (TIAM) held its first Conference and Annual General Meeting from April 17-18, 2024, at the RBC Convention Centre. Chuck Davidson, President & CEO of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, hosted a discussion with the Honourable Glen Simard, Minister of Sport, Culture, Heritage and Tourism. During the fireside chat, they talked about the provincial government’s plans and efforts to strengthening the tourism industry in Manitoba.

Tourism Winnipeg and Travel Manitoba also celebrated the 2nd Annual Tourism Awards at Club Regent Event Centre. The awards were presented to deserving businesses, individuals, volunteers, tourism operators, and campaigns that made remarkable contributions to the industry. The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce was one of the event’s sponsors.
