Members of the Manitoba Chambers team were on the road yesterday to meet with the Carman Chamber and tour some local member businesses.
The afternoon started with lunch at Boyne River Bistro with Chamber directors and representatives from the Town of Carman and RM of Dufferin.
The first stop after lunch was Aubin’s Nurseries, which has been in operation for 97 years. They grow trees, shrubs, and perennials that you can find in garden centres around the province and throughout the prairies.
Next up was Agassiz Seed Farm, which, in 1995, helped introduce soybean genetics to Manitoba farmers. Since then, they’ve specialized in certified soybean seed production, processing and distributing soybean seed to retailers throughout Western Canada.
Lastly we visited Sperling Industries, a private, family-owned and operated steel solution provider with a staff of over 100 local employees. They offer a range of services, including product design & fabrication, assembly & installation and maintenance & repair from our facilities in Canada and the U.S.A.
Thank you to the Carman Chamber for having us and showing off your community!
