Mar 20, 2023

If your company is interested in exploring business development opportunities in rural Manitoba – start here!

The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce Economic Development Tours are designed to highlight businesses throughout Manitoba and provide a venue to foster new business relationships.

Join us on April 19 & 20 when we travel to the Parkland region and meet with elected officials and business leaders eager to showcase the opportunities that exist in the region.

We will be touring the following companies, to name a few:

RITZ Machine Works – A global leader in precision manufactured parts in the tube bending industry and the supplier of choice for OEM manufacturers across North America.

Vermillion Growers – Currently constructing a 30-acre, state-of-the-art glass greenhouse to grow high-quality produce right here in Manitoba and reduce our carbon footprint.

Hemp Sense Inc. – a 6-year-old company located in Gilbert Plains that is currently producing 14 products (with more in the R&D phase). The company supplies retailers including: Walmart, Peavey Mart, Federated Coop, and Pet Valu Canada – all from their 30,000 square foot processing plant in Gilbert Plains.

Norwex – A global company whose Canadian headquarters is in Dauphin with a mission to improve the quality of life by radically reducing chemical use in our homes by delivering safer, healthier, and more sustainable cleaning and personal care solutions through their network of consultants.

The tours are intimate with a limit of 25 participants per tour at a cost of just $550 per delegate per tour (plus GST), which includes travel to/from/around the destination community; accommodations for one (1) night; meals (excluding liquor) scheduled during the formal itinerary; and admission to any sites/events on the formal itinerary.
