Roundtable Discussion with Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Tourism and Associate Minister of Finance

The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce was pleased to host the Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Tourism and Associate Minister of Finance, for a roundtable discussion with Manitoba business leaders this morning.

The Minister provided an overview of his government’s Fall Economic Statement and emphasized a shift in focus from pandemic relief to economic growth. Participants discussed important and timely topics, and the roundtable especially focused on immigration, including Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program and the importance of credential recognition, opportunities in technology and automation adoption, including advanced manufacturing, and reducing interprovincial trade barriers, with a focus on trade enabling infrastructure.
