A Reinvigorated Roadmap for the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce

Oct 25, 2023

With a renewed focus to strengthen connections and advocacy, develop programs and events that enhance the business community and grow and diversify chamber membership, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC) released our updated strategic plan today.

The updated strategic focus that was developed in collaboration by MCC’s Board of Directors, with input from the Chamber network and key stakeholders will focus on enhancing our voice in Ottawa and increased collaboration with the Chamber network, and under-represented groups.

Our policy work will build upon the success of our Vote Prosperity platform and explore new opportunities for collaboration on policy development ensuring the MCC remains a strong and credible voice of business in Manitoba.

Building on existing programs such as the Manitoba Mineral Development Fund, Digital Manitoba Initiative and the soon to be released Indigenous Inclusion Partnership Fund, MCC will continue to explore new opportunities that enhance the business community.

Growing the value proposition of local chambers of commerce and hosting events that showcase timely economic issues are just a few ways MCC will strengthen and diversify our membership.

Guided by our mission and vision, the Manitoba Chamber looks forward to the work ahead as we continue to champion sustainable economic growth toward greater prosperity for Manitoba businesses and communities and making Manitoba the best place to live and work.
