MB Pulse Report | Climate Change & Emissions Reduction: How will it change the way we do business?

Jun 16, 2022

Climate change has and will continue to alter the planet. Its complex environmental impact will undoubtedly affect business, society, and ecosystems. To that end, governments have been seeking to mitigate the effects of climate change with emissions targets and far-reaching regulations.

The shift towards a clean economy presents an immense opportunity for our country but also a tremendous challenge for business and industry as we adapt processes and work to remain competitive.

Business leaders and representatives of Manitoba employers were invited to share their insights on how climate change adaptation and emissions reductions could impact their business. This survey was open to all members of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, MB Pulse members, as well as to interested members of the public from June 2 to June 8, 2022. A total of 113 surveys were completed. Read the full report of what Manitoba businesses had to say.
