FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — October 25, 2019: At the exquisite 36th Manitoba Business Awards gala dinner, held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce was honoured to announce winners in seven self and peer-nominated categories, as well as our Outstanding Business of the Year, and two incredible pillars of the community in the 2019 Lieutenant Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Community.
“This MCC event is a member favourite because it gives us a chance to celebrate our peers — driven business leaders, community champions, and innovative entrepreneurs who are contributing to the strength of economy and the future of our province,” says Chuck Davidson, MCC President & CEO. “Our 2019 award winners are diverse, from start-up agri-food producers who are creating rural opportunity to lifetime entrepreneurs whose success in business and level of philanthropy are simply unparalleled. We are so proud to be able to celebrate their achievements, and we look forward to uncovering Manitoba success stories for many more years to come.”
Thank you to our Master of Ceremonies, Michelle Aitkenhead, RBC; MCC Board Chair Paul Holden; our legacy sponsor, platinum sponsors, award category sponsors, and all other partners and supporters for making this evening a great success. Stay tuned for future MCC communications with stories, photos, and videos featuring our award finalists and recipients.
