PHASE 1 & 2 TRIP Intakes Now Closed

The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce’s “TRIP” or Tourism Rebate Incentive Program already encouraged more than 10,000 Manitoba residents to enjoy a little getaway and experience all that our beautiful province has to offer. And now, we’re excited to announce that we’re doing it all over again – for 18 days (Aug. 26 to Sept. 12, 2021)!

Manitobans who have not yet participated in TRIP can enjoy a staycation adventure in Manitoba and submit qualifying receipts to access up to a $100 rebate on a one-night stay at an eligible accommodation, or up to a $150 rebate on a hotel-designed stay & play package. The program also includes access to a rebate for 50% off admission fees at 31 participating Manitoba “Star Attractions”.

“Our summers are special, and this is the peak season for hospitality and tourism businesses. Unfortunately, our tourism industry has been and continues to be gravely affected by the pandemic. TRIP is a win-win because it targets support to this hard-hit sector while benefiting residents. Whether you choose to staycation locally in your home community, or travel to and experience a Manitoba community you’ve always wanted to visit — you can enjoy a rebate!

Get out there to safely enjoy our province’s natural beauty and unique character. Relax in a hotel, see a town you’ve never seen before, visit friends and family, and invest in the experiences, shopping, and dining that Manitoba’s communities have to offer. Let’s have fun after 18 long months of staying close to home.”
