“Escalating safety concerns in places like Osborne Village, Wellington Cresent and Fort Rouge has been a failure of the NDP,” says Paul Hesse Manitoba Liberal candidate for Fort Rouge. “When funding was cut for foot patrols, when the community police station left the area, the NDP MLA for Fort Rouge was silent. In 2009, the NDP government revoked the option for Manitoba families to create in-Canada trust funds on behalf of loved ones applying to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. Loved ones in countries like the Phillipines, India, African nations and world wide, must make the CAD $10,000 in a trust of their country of origin. This is out of the reach for many in these developing nations and Liberals want to reverse this NDP decision, and allow the money to be held in trust in Canadian banks. [Click on Pic to learn more]

We will work to build entrepreneurship generally and most particularly among aboriginal people to compliment the activities of Paul Martin and his Martin Aboriginal Education Initiative to promote aboriginal entrepreneurs.
