MASS MoCA Announces TD Bank Group as Lead Sponsor of Oh, Canada

At the Toronto International Art Fair, MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) today released new details about its major survey of Canadian contemporary art Oh, Canada and announced TD Bank Group as the presenting sponsor of the exhibition. The show, which opens May 27, 2012 at MASS MoCA, will feature over 100 works in all media, showcasing 62 artists who hail from every province and nearly every territory in Canada and who span multiple generations. Buck Pierce receives Ed Kotowich Good Guy Award

Since signing with the Blue Bombers in April, 2010, Pierce has made a commitment to the city of Winnipeg by putting up permanent residence year-round and has been very active in the community, giving back whenever he can. He has donated his time to organizations such as the United Way and has participated in many Blue Bomber appearances with the I Love to Read program at various schools throughout the city and province. Cargill Hosts U.S. Premiere of Living Lands and Waters Floating Classroom

Cargill has partnered with LL&W since 1999. In addition to funding for the floating classroom and annual support for the organization’s operating needs, Cargill employees volunteer with the crew for river cleanups and tree planting projects in the communities along the major rivers where Cargill has operations and provide additional expertise to support the organization, including as guest speakers at LL&W’s workshops. Scotiabank Now the Official Bank of the Winnipeg Jets!

Over the course of the partnership, the Winnipeg Jets and Scotiabank will provide a range of fan initiatives and community programs, including youth skill development and women’s hockey. Scotiabank will also expand the family of teams involved in the Scotia Skaters program to Winnipeg.
