Advocacy is at the heart of everything we do. As the #VoiceofBusiness in Manitoba, we connect meaningfully with our members and work alongside local chamber leaders to amplify regional advocacy efforts, influence provincial policies, and leverage our national chamber network.
We communicate transparently with government representatives, advocating for responsible leadership, a business-friendly climate, and sustainable economic development.
The policy team — staff and committee — researches key strategic issues and develops policy positions to enhance our province’s competitiveness. Our goal is to ensure that Manitoba is an attractive place to conduct business and invest.
At our annual general meeting (AGM), members gather to debate and vote on the policy resolutions that will inform our advocacy efforts for the coming year(s). Our team also conducts regular surveys, drafts position papers and issue statements to support our local chambers in responding to emerging community issues, and much more.
