MBiz Breakfast presented by
Canada has experienced its share of economic challenges in recent years, from trade agreement re-negotiations and export blockades to tariffs, pipeline project stagnancy, bursting bubbles in the oil and gas industry, and recent big hits to our canola and pork exports. Manitoba has weathered ups and downs fairly well as a result of our diversified economy, but workforce concerns, corporate taxation complexity and lack of competitiveness, as well as interprovincial regulatory issues continue to dog us.
As we close the chapter on 2019 and turn a new calendar page to 2020, what is on the horizon for Canada? What are the biggest potential obstacles to overcome and what do the experts see as our greatest opportunities?
Join the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce as we host Dr. Trevin Stratton, Chief Economist and Vice-President, Policy & Advocacy, Canadian Chamber of Commerce, for our 2020 Economic Outlook keynote and the first MBiz Breakfast networking event of 2020.
