From around the world to our local communities, we have all been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
After weeks of engaging with local communities and individuals, partners Cameron Friesen, founder of EventLight in the event production industry, as well as Luke Muskego and Logan Tait-Reaume from the cannabis technology and production industry (Turtle Island Collective), joined forces to form Kasina PureTek.
“The current landscape means companies – including our own – are seeking out ways to keep employees and customers safe. Being affected business owners in other ventures, we fully understand the challenges that businesses are facing just to remain open and conform to public health orders,” says Friesen. “Our mission at Kasina PureTek is to provide a healthy, clean environment free from harmful contagions and contaminants. Our team goes above and beyond to ensure that no matter the space, we can deliver disinfectant solutions to help fight the ongoing spread of the virus.”
The Kasina PureTek team employs measures as outlined by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to reduce and eliminate the virus.
“Taking into consideration the nature of the situation, we monitor updates from WHO and PHAC, as well as local, provincial and federal health officials as they are announced, and we can make any prudent adjustments accordingly. The solutions we use are Health Canada approved for use against COVID-19 and are safe for you, your employees, and your customers.”
The team employs a two-step spraying process that ensures a high level of disinfection and coverage. The first step is the Super Quat Plus solution, a phosphate-free cleaner, deodorizer, and disinfectant. Formulated to have a neutral pH level, it provides the dual power of cleaning and disinfection while remaining completely safe, and leaving behind a fresh, clean smell. The second step doubles down on all high-touch and high-traffic surfaces using Alcosan, which is a 70% isopropyl alcohol-based disinfectant, ensuring every surface is thoroughly attended to.
With a range of service tailored to meet residential, business, and First Nations’ needs, Kasina PureTek offers one time, monthly, weekly, and daily spraying programs.
“Following the new standards of health and safety created by COVID-19 is not an easy task. Our team can provide a comprehensive level of disinfection through spraying, which serves as an enhancement to the solutions and methods you are using already. It’s so important to be able to focus on your day-to-day business needs and on your customers, rather than diverting critical employee time to meet these new standards.”
