Returning for the 34th consecutive year, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC) is pleased to announce the company finalists for the upcoming Manitoba Business Awards Presented by Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries.

Established in 1983 to recognize and celebrate outstanding businesses and individual achievements by the Manitoba business community, each year seven awards are given to businesses and/or people who contribute to Manitoba’s employment; have a successful employee relations department; have seen sustainable growth; and been involved in the province’s community development. Additional consideration is given to nominees demonstrating exceptional achievements for overcoming unique obstacles.

This year, second and third generation run companies, along with some nearing significant operating milestones highlight a diverse collection of Manitoba businesses nominated for the only awards that encompass the entire province.

The finalists for the 34th Manitoba Business Awards are:

Outstanding Not-for-Profit

Outstanding Small Business

Outstanding Medium Business

Outstanding Large Business

Long-Term Achievement

“This year’s finalists are one of the strongest groups we have had,” said Chuck Davidson, MCC’s President and CEO. “The awards are designed to celebrate Manitoba business, but also encourage people to learn more about the individuals who are building the foundation for the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs.”

The 34th Manitoba Business Awards will be handed out Friday, October 27 at the Canad Inns Polo Park. You can purchase your seats by clicking here.

The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, established in 1931, is the umbrella organization for Manitoba’s Chamber movement. With a membership comprised of Local Chambers of Commerce as well direct Corporate Members, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce is Manitoba’s largest and most diverse business lobby, representing 71 local Chambers and close to 10,000 businesses and community leaders.
