Chamber Network Pass New Policy During AGM

Delegates representing Chambers from across the provincial network added 18 new policies to the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce resolution book. The policy debate wrapped up the 85th Annual General Meeting in Portage la Prairie.

Policy resolutions are at the heart of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce and reflect our mission to champion sustainable economic growth leading to greater prosperity for business and communities in Manitoba. The focus of policy development falls under a number of key areas, including:

  • Economic Competitiveness
  • Workforce
  • Healthcare
  • Rural Economic Development and Mining
  • Water and Environment
  • Tourism

Over the next few weeks, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce will complete production of an updated policy handbook that will be sent to all Chambers along the network. To see the latest policy resolutions passed, please click here.
