May 7, 2016 | Chamber News

After a year in which the Chamber Network in Manitoba was extremely active in both the Federal and Provincial election campaigns the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce is committed to increasing its focus on policy development and advocacy to ensure the Chamber network continues to enhance their engagement and provide value to the members and communities we serve.

In addition, newly elected MCC Board Chair Kyle Romaniuk is committed to growing and extending the Chamber brand to increase awareness across Manitoba of the benefits of being a member of any Local Chamber across the network in the coming year.

“I am honoured and excited to be part of such an important organization and encouraging a movement driven by people overflowing with passion, vision, and the drive to make things happen”, said Romaniuk. “Over the past number of years, MCC has made significant strides and is ready to push forward, all systems go, focused on accelerating growth in Manitoba.”

As a founding partner of the CHR Group Romaniuk has been connected to the communications firm in Manitoba he launched in 1995. Today, he is responsible for the continuous improvement of The CHR Group’s portfolio of marketing and communications companies located in Winnipeg, Toronto, Cincinnati and New York.

“This past year has been an important one for MCC”, said Chamber President and CEO Chuck Davidson. “With two elections since our last AGM, we have worked to develop policy that will help enhance economic development and growth within our province. Our voice is strong and with this new Board, we will continue to emphasise the strength of a united Chamber network. ”
