Premier Touts Accomplishments To Wrap Up 2015 Leaders Series

May 26, 2015 | Chamber News

A very polished and comfortable Premier Greg Selinger took the unusual turn of speaking without notes or podium as he delivered his government message of “Steady Growth, Good Jobs”. The Premier’s speech was the last installment of the 2015 Provincial Leaders Series Presented by Deloitte.

During his 25 minute speech, the Premier touted the record of his government in regards to job growth, affordable living and a prosperous future for Manitoba. He also touched on the highlights of the 2015 Provincial Budget and where Manitoba business and families can see the advantages of their fiscal plan in the years ahead. Premier Selinger continued to trumpeted Manitoba as being home to the lowest cost bundle of services in the country, while singling out education and tourism as key to our continued growth.

A big thank you to Premier Selinger and the other Provincial Leaders for sharing their thoughts and visions for Manitoba as we move closer to an April 2016 election. The Manitoba Chambers would also like to thank our presenting sponsor, Deloitte, and to breakfast sponsors Ready, Willing and Able and to partners The Players Cup and Partners for Life.
