Conservative Leader Kicks 2015 Leaders Series

Mar 11, 2015 | Chamber News

In the same room where the NDP reaffirmed Premier Greg Selinger as their leader, the man looking to replace him for the job made his pitch to close to 200 people.

The 2015 Provincial Leaders Series Presented by Deliotte heard from PC Leader Brian Pallister on Wednesday March 11 at the Canad Inns Polo Park. During his 20-plus speech, Pallister put forth his vision of where Manitoba needed to go and how everything we need and want is within our reach, we just need to be reminded of it. He also spoke passionately about protecting, celebrating and recognizing the commitment of front line workers in the civil service. The large business crowd was also presented with a commitment from Pallister to lower the PST within his first mandate, if elected, and sign Manitoba up to join the New West Partnership, something the Manitoba Chambers has long advocated for.
