As the Human Resources Manager, you maintain, develop and lead the HR practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture and the development of a dynamic workforce. This position will coordinate the implementation of services, policies, procedures and programs.

Our client, Allmar Inc, is seeking a Human Resources Manager for its Winnipeg location.

The Role:

æ  Manages recruiting and staffing

æ  Develops and implements policy and procedure

æ  Develops and provides employee orientation, development and training

æ  Provides coaching to leadership

æ  Keeps senior management informed and apprised of all new, revised and pending regulations, policies and procedures, proposing action

æ  Provides employee services and counselling

æ  Leads and directs the performance management process

æ  Keeps apprised of all employee laws and practices

æ  Develops and administers the compensation, benefits and other Company and Human Resources programs

æ  Works effectively with senior leadership including the CEO and Senior Executive

æ  Manages succession planning together with branch and senior management

æ  Develops and promotes career path and mentoring program

You and Your Experience

æ  You have post-secondary education; either Human Resources degree or Human Resource Management Certificate

æ  Certified Human  Resources Professional Designation (CHRP) an asset

æ  You have 7 to 10 years’ experience in Human Resource Management

æ  You have proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Payroll and HRIS, i.e. ADP

æ  You participate in annual training and development through the HRMAM and/or related associates essential in maintaining CHRP professional designation

æ  You have excellent communication skills

æ  You have excellent organizational skills

æ  You have strong training ability with proven results

æ  You are a team player who can work and relate at all levels of the organization with a high level of integrity

æ  You have strong analytical/problem solving skills
