Chamber Looking for Potential Board Members

Jan 6, 2015 | Chamber News

The Nominating Committee of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce is looking for individuals that are interested in joining our Board of Directors.

Nominees for the Board of Directors must be individuals that are either the owner or employee of a business that is a member of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce in good standing. Individuals employed by organizations who are considered ‘associations’ on the Chamber’s Rate Schedule may not be nominated for the Board as only business members are eligible.

As a member of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, the choice of who a person nominates or votes for is entirely up to you as a member of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce. However, as part of our governance process, which has the goal of having a Board of Directors that represent all segments of the membership, we ask you to consider the following:

  • Geographic representation
  • Representation from varying business sectors
  • Mix of male/female, business owners/ managers

If you are interested please fill out this form and return by Friday, February 6th to [email protected]
