In order for our client, Vita Health, to meet their customer’s needs, they are ready to welcome a Bilingual Regulatory Affairs Associate.

Your responsibility as the Bilingual Regulatory Affairs Associate is to secure product licences and ensure regulatory compliance of labeling/marketing materials for Natural Health Products, Over the Counter Drugs and Food products in both of Canada’s official languages; English and French.

The Role:
 Prepare and submit product licence applications to Health Canada
 Maintain and update existing product licences and/or facility licences
 Translate new regulatory texts from English into French
 Assess accuracy and compliance of existing French translations of Regulatory documentation
 Create and maintain master labeling texts for drugs, natural health products and foods according to applicable regulatory requirements
 Assess compliance and accuracy of labeling and provide regulatory approvals
 Maintain awareness of Canadian regulatory environment for drugs, natural health products and foods and ensure implementation of new requirements
Your Experience & Qualifications:
 You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in science (e.g. biology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, medical technology, pharmacy, pharmacology)
 At least 1 year experience in a similar role within a relevant regulated industry such as ; natural health products, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, sports nutrition, foods or medical devices
 You must be fluent in written and spoken English and French
 You possess superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
 You consider yourself an adept problem solver with a strong attention to detail
 You have strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
 You enjoy collaborating and love working in teams
 You have experience creating and maintaining electronic documents
 You consider yourself a lifelong learner and adapt well to technology and systems
 You have experience in dealing with regulatory bodies such as Health Canada and are just as strong in regulatory standards, practices and requirements
 You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage competing priorities
