Manitoba Contingent Sets Sights on P.E.I.

Sep 19, 2014 | Chamber News

While this week’s Canadian Chamber of Commerce AGM is taking place in beautiful Charlottetown, P.E.I.- it will have a distinct Manitoba feel.

This year Manitoba will be sending one of our strongest contingents representing local chambers from Brandon, Portage, Morden, Winnipeg, Assiniboia, Selkirk and MCC. On top of the Canadian Chamber AGM, the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada (CCEC) will also be holding their AGM. MCC President Chuck Davidson and Brandon Chamber G.M. Carolyn Cancade represent the province on the Board of Directors as treasurer and rep-at-large respectively.

The Canadian Chamber will also be swearing in their incoming Chair. This year, Manitoba’s Michael McMullen will be taking over the position. Click here to learn more about Mr. McMullen.

Over the course of the AGM, MCC will be staying connected via  Twitter, Facebook and our YouTube page with all the sites and sounds of this year’s AGM.

More than 60 policy resolutions will be debated by provincial chambers from coast to coast. Click here to view the 2014 Proposed Policy Resolutions book.
