Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries is the newest Crown corporation of the Province of Manitoba, responsible for the distribution and sale of beverage alcohol, and for providing gaming and entertainment experiences, all in a socially responsible manner.

Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries operates Liquor Marts and Liquor Mart Express stores, Club Regent Casino, McPhillips Station Casino, Video Lotto and, and also distributes and sells Western Canada Lottery products through our network of lottery ticket retailers.

As one of the largest single buyers of beverage alcohol in the world, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries brings an incredible array of products into our province from more than 50 countries. As the wholesaler and distributor of liquor, the corporation’s distribution centre serves more than 1,700 commercial customers across Manitoba.

Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries’ two unique casinos offer a variety of quality gaming and entertainment at Club Regent Casino and McPhillips Station Casino. Both feature classic table games, slots, bingo, restaurants, shows and special events throughout the year.

In addition to the casinos, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries also operates a network of VLTs throughout the province which helps to support Manitoba’s hotel and restaurant industry. The corporation also operates the Shark Club Gaming Centre on behalf of its owner True North Sports & Entertainment Limited.

Revenues generated by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries are returned to the Province to support priority programming in health care, education, social and community services, economic development and public safety initiatives.

Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries is one of the province’s largest employers with approximately 3000 full-time, part-time and casual employees, most of whom work at various Winnipeg locations, including about 600 staff members at each casino, but also in Morris, Brandon and at dozens of Liquor Marts throughout the province.

Each year, the corporation sponsors numerous worthwhile charitable and community events such as the Habitat for Humanity Legacy Build, the Manitoba Marathon and CNIB’s Eye on The Arts. These are just a few of the annual events where Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries employees volunteer in great numbers and in doing so benefit each organization while raising funds for the employees’ Charity of Choice program.

Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries was named one of Manitoba’s Top 25 Employers in 2013.
