Western Innovation Initiative – Call for Proposals

The Western Innovation (WINN) Initiative was recently announced as a five year $100 million federal funding initiative that offers repayable contributions to for-profit western Canadian businesses. Eligible applicants will have less than 500 employees, and will commercialize innovative technology-based products, processes or services within a three year period.

Western Economic Diversification (WD) will deliver 8 WINN information sessions in Winnipeg on the following dates:

November 12- 11:00am to 12:00pm (English)

November 13- 10:00am to 11:00am (French)

November 18- 10:00am to 11:00am (English)

November 18- 2:00pm to 3:00pm (English)

November 19- 10:00am to 11:00am (English)

November 19- 2:00pm to 3:00pm (French)

November 21- 10:00am to 11:00am (English)

November 22- 10:00am to 11:00am (English)

A presentation will be delivered on the WINN initiative, followed by a question and answer period. For further information on WINN and WD, please refer to the WD website:
