As more companies recognize the benefits of Career Management programs, and as our current Vice-President of Career Management begins her own career transition, we are ready to welcome a new Senior Leader, Career Management to our People First HR Services team.  Reporting to the President of People First, the Senior Leader, Career Management role will provide strategic direction and leadership for the career transition and career development services of the firm.

As a succession role, this position will be ideal for the senior leader who can hit the ground running or alternatively, be an exciting opportunity for the professional who is ready to step into a leadership role with strong mentorship available.

THE ROLE:

 Leadership

æ  Establish annual budget; develop and implement operational and fiscal plans.

æ  Ensure consulting team is providing best in class service and delivery to clients.

æ  Identify, develop and implement new/enhanced services to meet clients’ needs.

Business Development

æ  Manage and cultivate relationships with multiple established corporate clients.

æ  Create new business opportunities through organized prospecting and networking.

æ  Analyze market and industry trends and forecast business opportunities.

æ  Participate in marketing and networking events and other external opportunities.

Service Delivery

æ  Provide high quality and timely service to senior level individuals in transition.

æ  Provide knowledgeable and practical career and job search coaching.

æ  Deliver career transition advice and counsel to companies implementing individual or large group terminations.

YOU AND YOUR EXPERIENCE:

 

æ  You have had 5-10 years experience in a senior management role combined with previous business development experience and love being part of a company’s growth and development.

æ  You are especially passionate about consultative and/or conceptual sales solutions and have strong business acumen.

æ  You have the skills and the experience in managing high performance teams in a fast paced and project heavy environment.

æ  You listen.  You can recognize the needs of clients and are a solutions and service oriented individual.

æ  You are a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills.

æ  You can connect well with all levels of professionals from colleagues to C-Suite clients and have a high commitment of follow up to these clients.

æ  You enjoy working with a strong and professional team and are an individual who takes your responsibilities and accountabilities seriously.

æ  You would describe yourself as a hands-on leader; you are willing to get into the trenches with your team as you believe that leadership is done through example.
