” The focal point of this whole process is to celebrate the values and achievements of Manitoba Businesses from a variety of perspectives,” says Graham Starmer, President and CEO of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce. “The finalists all reflect values that support our province, their employees, their clients and who have made a tremendous contribution to their communities in a variety of ways — from employee engagement to volunteerism to sponsorships of charity events —all have been unique and distinct in how they approach this triple bottom line thinking in a strategic way.”
The awards also reflect diversities by spanning the spectrum of large, medium and small businesses; and by honouring businesses located in urban and rural Manitoba. The awards have undergone many changes since their inception in 1983. Since that time, primarily upon the wishes of the business community.
This year’s Gala will be hosted at the Fairmont Hotel Winnipeg with our Presenting Sponsor, Manitoba Lotteries. We warmly welcome Mr. Jean Rene Halde as the keynote speaker to celebrate Small Business Week.
