“In my work as a speaker and seminar leader, I observed that many people reported being on auto-pilot and ‘going through the motions’ at work,” explains Deri Latimer. “Their habits seemed to have induced a kind of ‘sleep’ that was holding them back from engaging fully in their work (and life).  I wrote this book to provide a toolkit to help people shift out of negative emotion when it is getting in their way, and to create positive emotion in situations when it would be useful for them to have as a resource.”
