Thanks in part to the generous donations of its guests at its 2011 Northern Alberta Golf Invitational, Acrodex is pleased to announce that it has made a $5,850 donation to the Kids Kottage Foundation.

“We were thrilled to receive this donation from Acrodex,” said Pam Miller, Development Director for Kids Kottage Foundation. “A good portion of our annual budget comes from fundraising, so when a company like Acrodex steps up to contribute we are sincerely thankful for the support.”

The foundation’s mission is to help keep children safe and families strong. The Edmonton-based Kids Kottage centre offers respite for children and families in crisis, as well as 24-hour support through a crisis hotline.

Acrodex presented the donation to Kids Kottage representatives during its annual golf tournament, where guests contributed donations as part of a donated prize raffle. These proceeds were combined with a $5,000 cheque Acrodex made on behalf of its clients.

“We chose to support Kids Kottage because of its exceptional support to our local community. And we were delighted that our attendees showed such a strong response towards this cause,” said Acrodex President Yasmin Jivraj. “The final numbers truly exceeded our expectations.”
