Eight Projects Selected To Compete At The 2011 Rogers $10,000 Pitch!

On Screen Manitoba is happy to announce that eight participants have been selected by a jury of broadcasters and industry professionals to present their projects at the 2011 Rogers $10,000 Pitch! during the Gimli Film Festival.

The Finalists:

  • Arranged – Hersh Seth
  • Art School Warrior – John B. Lowe
  • Brad Even Paler – Quinn Greene
  • Dances With Daughter – Carson Nattrass
  • Legacies – Adam Bumbolo, David Evans
  • Man In The Trunk – Benjamin Aytona, Aaron Graham, Adam Smoluk
  • Sketchy – Shannon Guile, Jane Testar, Garth Merkeley, Ryan Miller, Jacqueline Loewen
  • Small Balls – John B. Lowe

Participants will have only 3 minutes to convey a compelling story and convince the jury that their idea should win. Following each pitch the jury will have 4 minutes to offer feedback and ask questions. After all the pitches are completed the jury will deliberate and announce the winner!

This is a FREE event and open to the public. Come out and cheer on your favourite project!

DATE: Friday, July 22
TIME: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
LOCATION: Gimli Theatre (74 2nd Ave, Gimli, MB)
