Fujitsu Canada, a leading provider of ICT-based business solutions for the global marketplace, is expanding their contract with Allstream to provide two more of their locations with IP-based, communications solutions.

As part of a three-year agreement, Allstream is extending its Managed Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) service to two additional Fujitsu Canada locations. This will help to streamline Fujitsu Canada’s network management while maximizing performance. Allstream’s MPLS service consolidates the systems, services and applications of all ten Fujitsu Canada locations into one high-performing data network.  The MPLS service combines the flexibility and intelligence of IP routing with the speed and transport quality of a single network, providing a secure and efficient mode of sharing information.

“Our MPLS service is an interoperable, scalable and industry leading solution,” said Dean Prevost, President, Allstream. “We are pleased to be a part of Fujitsu Canada’s expansion and play a key role in their ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of service they provide their customers.”
