“I’ve had the pleasure to work on many films shot here in Manitoba during the past two decades, and every once in a while, one of them will stand out from the rest, and truly strike a chord in your heart. This is one of those films, and I’m so proud to be a part of it,” says RoseAnna Schick of RAS Creative, who provided publicity services to the film during production, and also during its launch.

This made-in-Manitoba film was shot in Manitoba and Quebec during the summer of 2010, and premiered in movie theatres across Canada this spring. It runs at Winnipeg’s Cinematheque Theatre from June 10-16. Writer/Director Tara Johns and the film’s star Julie Stone will both be present at the screenings on Friday June 10 (7:00 & 9:00pm), Saturday June 11 (7:00 & 9:00pm), and Sunday June 12 (7:00pm).
