Fido launches Canada’s first nation-wide service of its kind reducing waiting and voice-activated errors
No more long waits on hold or complex voice-activated navigation menus. Fido today announces the launch of a ground-breaking consumer-focused service, FidoANSWERS™, the only national program of its kind in Canada. Customers have asked for this new service and Fido has answered by giving them the option of talking to a live representative right away.
According to a survey conducted by Léger Marketing on behalf of Fido1, 89 per cent of customers prefer talking to a representative when calling their wireless provider, as self-serve automated systems can sometimes cause delays including long waiting times, complex navigation menus and potential call transfers.

Available in English, French, Cantonese and Mandarin, FidoANSWERS™ will help increase quick customer care resolutions by significantly reducing the average call waiting times and eliminating, or reducing, the transfers between customer service representatives. Customers will also have the option of choosing Fido’s easy-to-use self-serve menu.
