MTS Adding More Feature-Packed Devices to Its Handset Line-Up for New 4G Wireless Network

Nokia C6-00, Nokia Surge and Motorola SPICE(TM) available soon

MTS customers will soon be able to choose from an even greater list of feature-rich devices on the MTS 4G wireless network. The line-up will soon include the Nokia C6-00, Nokia Surge, and the Motorola SPICE(TM).

“We’ve been listening carefully to our customers throughout Manitoba and responding to their needs with an extensive line-up of devices that will be offered on our new 4G network,” said Kelvin Shepherd, President, MTS. “The Nokia and Motorola devices offer great features that our wireless subscribers will appreciate.”

MTS is adding the Nokia C6-00 and the Nokia Surge to its wireless handset line-up. The Nokia C6-00 is a feature-rich device that offers the convenience of both a touch screen and slide out QWERTY keyboard. The Nokia Surge is a sleek, all-in-one device that offers full data features, including Internet connectivity and quick messaging with a slide-and-hide QWERTY keyboard. Both devices offer a number of great features through Ovi by Nokia such as Ovi Maps which provide voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation.

The Android(TM)-powered Motorola SPICE, will also be available on the new 4G Wireless Network. The Motorola SPICE has a slide-out, full QWERTY design, large display with pinch to zoom and swipe navigation. The handset offers customers an all-in-one music player that includes a music library, FM radio and song recognition while providing a PC-like web experience with a full HTML browser and Adobe(R) Flash(R) Lite(R) 3 support.
