Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) relies on its Community Partners (CP) to act as local representatives in their communities. CP’s interact and mentor budding entrepreneurs; they take pride in making resources available to existing and potential young business people. Besides being vital in helping the CYBF identify future entrepreneurs, CP’s bring together a Loan Review Committee, enlist the help of community business leaders to volunteer as mentors as well as work closely with the CYBF to keep young, passionate entrepreneurs from leaving Canadian cities.

Bradley Jacobson, a Certified Immigration Consultant who owns Canadian Immigration Strategies Inc., is a CYBF entrepreneur and former graduate of the program.

“CYBF has opened the door for many Canadians to obtain their dream of being their own boss,” Jacobson says. “By providing pre-launch coaching, an online interactive business planner, flexible start-up financing and cultural and business mentoring we are giving these creative, educated and motivated youth all the tools they need to succeed at building Manitoba’s economy.”

Jacobson and the team at Canadian Immigration Strategies Inc. will assist in providing an opportunity for ambitious young people (ages 18 to 34) to develop and nurture their own businesses in Winnipeg. CYBF takes pride in highlighting such efforts.

“To see a young entrepreneur stepping up to the plate to help other entrepreneurs is significant,” says Joelle Foster, Director, CYBF Manitoba, Nunavut and Northwest Territories. “It shows how strongly Bradley feels about the future economic growth of our city.”

Joelle Foster Elaborates on the Initiative:

Canadian Immigration Strategies Inc. joins the roster of the more than 100 CYBF Community Partners in cities within all 13 provinces and territories from coast to coast.
