Winnipeg Man Will Live In A Wind Powered Eco Cabin for One Week

Global Wind Group is taking on Manitoba’s infamous weather conditions with wind power in the first ever ZüS™ Power Challenge. For one week in March, Global Wind Group’s Vince Ceccarelli will live in the small 8′ x 16′ cabin that is powered solely by a 1kw ZüS™ Modular Power System at the Red River Exhibition grounds.  

Running from March 21 to 28, the ZüS™ Power Challenge demonstrates the ZüS™ wind turbine can provide sufficient energy to power many of the basic conveniences of modern life including a computer with Internet access, a television, fridge and microwave. Ceccarelli will be living in the cabin, cooking, reading and sharing his experiences on the Internet via a live streaming webcam, blog, Twitter and Facebook.
