OmniTRAX Canada Inc. is pleased to announce that Eitan Dehtiar has joined the company as Director, Energy & Commodities Marketing. Dehtiar will be responsible for marketing, sales, customer service and industrial and business development with a primary goal of developing OmniTRAX Canada’s northern markets.
While working with OmniTRAX’s current business ties in the Hudson Bay and Kivalliq regions, Dehtiar will develop new business opportunities, expand revenue growth and consult with shippers and receivers to ensure the company’s Port of Churchill continues to offer quality rail, freight handling and marine shipping services in the region. Dehtiar will also help further establish the Churchill Gateway as a strong and viable supply route and as Canada’s Arctic Gateway.
Dehtiar brings nearly 20 years experience in finance, supply chain management and business development. Most recently, he served as Vice President Finance & Strategic Planning with Braden-Burry Expediting Ltd. (BBE), a supply chain management, project planning and third-party logistical service provider with operations across Northern Canada since 1977. There, Dehtiar was instrumental in developing supply chains for Northern Canada’s largest resources projects. He also played a significant role in developing the Churchill Gateway.
Dehtiar has served numerous municipal and territorial boards as well as the Churchill Gateway Development Corporation and various chambers of commerce and volunteer boards. Dehtiar graduated from Queen’s University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
