Neepawa and District Chamber of Commerce Announcement: TheNeepex Trade Show is Returning to Yellowhead Centre

Mar 2, 2011 | Government News

The Neepawa and District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Neepex trade show will return to Neepawa’s Yellowhead Centre on May 13 and 14, 2011. This year’s show, which the chamber plans to be an annual event is being billed as Neepex: A Business and Cultural Expo.

Since its inception, Neepawa has been a multi-cultural community and in the past three years it has become home to hundreds of new immigrants from the Philippines, Korea, the Ukraine and several other countries. Neepawa has always been a strong business and agricultural centre so having a broad based business and cultural emphasis on the show is a natural fit for the Neepawa area.

The Neepawa Yellowhead Centre will be divided up into 10′ x 10′ booths in the hall, waiting room and the arena. Some large booth spaces will be available in the arena.  A large entertainment component is being booked for the show with an emphasis on local talent. A number of booths have been booked as businesses have learned about Neepex 2011.

We have just confirmed that “Select Shows” will be returning to Neepawa for this event and “Honeymoon Suite” will be performing Saturday night in the Arena.

Neepex 2011 is being co-chaired by chamber president Amanda Naughton-Gale and chamber board member Ken Waddell. Chamber manager Judy Perrett is handling most of the arrangements and people interested in booking a booth at the show can contact Ms. Perrett at 204-476-5292 or by email at [email protected]

Details about the show are available from the Chamber office or on the Neepawa Chamber web site at http://www.neepawachamber.com/
