Global Wind Group Nominated as one of Canada’s Most Innovative Companies

Global Wind Group Inc, has been nominated by The Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) as one of Canada’s Hottest Innovative Companies and is the only Manitoba-company to receive a nomination in the Clean Technology category.

Global Wind Group Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of vertical axis wind turbines and technology associated with wind energy. It recently signed a major foreign manufacturing, marketing and distribution agreement with TIM Engineering Technologies Ltd. of India. Global Wind Group has designed its proprietary ZüSTM Modular Power Systems, which are rugged stand-alone, turnkey wind turbines perfectly suited to deliver reliable power in remote settings.

Each year, the Canadian Innovation Exchange conducts an exhaustive search for 25 of the most innovative technology, products, services and companies in the country in the categories of Clean Technology, Digital Media, or Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

The awards ceremony will take place on December 7, 2010, at MaRS Discover Centre in downtown Toronto, where the selected finalists will make a live presentation in front of industry leaders, corporations, entrepreneurs, and investors. From these finalists,

Canada’s Innovation Leader will be selected from each category.
