  • Highlights include: R&F Properties joins KWG Property to acquire a stake in a Chinese property company for US$353.5 million; Shandong Gold-Mining plans to acquire Shandong Jinshi for approximately US$188 million; US food giant Heinz is paying US$165 million up front for Chinese soy sauce maker Foodstar; and Silvercorp Metals, a Canada-based mining firm, has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire a 70% equity interest in Yunxiang Mining Co Ltd. For US$33 million.
