Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) is pleased to be a sponsor in support of Centrallia.

From October 20 to 22, 2010, over 500 small and medium sized businesses will travel to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for Centrallia, to create new business relationships, meet like-minded business professionals and extend their personal and professional contact networks.

As part of this exciting event, TDS is hosting the seminar “Developing a Successful Canadian Business Strategy”. TDS will guide Centrallia participants through the key considerations needed before entering the Canadian market, including: tax, intellectual property, labour, environmental, financing, importing/exporting and more. The expert panel of speakers will include: TDS lawyers Antoine Hacault, Doug Forbes, Jan Lederman and Jeff Pniowsky, Anita Wortzman, President and CEO of Acumen Corporate Development Inc. and Rick Riess, President and CEO of transborder customs brokerage firm GHY International. The keynote speaker over the lunch hour is Diane Gray, President and CEO of CentrePort Canada Inc.
