Scotiabank Donates $100,000 to Canadian Red Cross Efforts to Aid Victims of Pakistan Flooding

Scotiabank today announced a Cdn$100,000 contribution to Canadian Red Cross efforts to aid victims of flooding in Pakistan. Canadians are also invited to support the Canadian Red Cross Pakistan relief fund with donations through Scotiabank’s national branch network.

“Our thoughts are with the victims and families that have been affected by flooding in Pakistan,” said Rick Waugh, Scotiabank President and Chief Executive Officer. “The suffering and property damage has affected many communities and rebuilding efforts will continue for many months. We are glad to play a role in that effort.”
